I have been researching the difference between Knowers and Learners.
There is a lot of information out there on this subject. You can get information on how being a “Knower” – how it hinders your from relating to others and how it hinders accepting and dealing with change. There is a lot of information about the virtues of being a “Learner”. (For some reason the “Learner” is viewed as good while the “Knower” is viewed as being “Bad”). Being a Learner allows you to accept and deal with change.
Through my research I came across a website which had a video which has a slightly different view of this subject. Kathryn Schulz has presented this video on Ted.com.
It is about 18 minutes long.
Here is a video by David Boulton on the difference between “Knowers” and “Learners”.
ENJOY! Your comments are definitely welcome.
